Are you a current BSC student? Do you have what it takes to embody the Mystics spirit?


Merlin the Mystic Mascot is holding his arms open wide in the middle of the BSC game room, showing pool tables, foos ball table, and arcade gamesEach year the BSC Public Affairs Team hires students to help with the the coordination and performance of “Merlin the Mystic” mascot at athletic games, special events and other student life activities on campus, as well as events happening in the community. It's an awesome opportunity to share your BSC pride, create a one-of-a-kind experience for fans and students, and looks great on a resume!
  • Paid $12.00/hour.
  • This position will perform as the Mascot or assist other performers before, during and after events.
  • Training will be provided but this position requires lots of physical movement, animated gestures, and high energy.
  • All mascot protocols will be followed, including frequent breaks and a limited amount of time in costume.
  • Each appearance will usually last 2 hours or less.
  • Hours and location of activities will vary with the majority happening on-campus during the day.
  • Positions available during the school year and in the summer.
