Program Description

Students graduating from the 农业综合企业 program will have career opportunities in the fields of agronomy, livestock production, precision agriculture, 保险, 公司贷款, 机械, ag)供应, 和服务. Students may specialize within these fields in sales, 操作, and management.

The 农业综合企业 program will offer classroom instruction and hands-on laboratories in agriculture economics and business combined with electives in agriculture areas such as livestock production, 作物生产, and precision agriculture. This, coupled with a supervised internship, will prepare students for gainful employment.

Career Opportunities

An 农业综合企业 Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree will qualify students for many varied positions in the agriculture industry. These include sales, 操作, and management positions in the fields of agronomy, livestock production, precision agriculture, 保险, 公司贷款, 机械, ag)供应, 和服务. Example jobs may include crop 保险 agent, agronomy 操作 specialist, feed plant operator, precision agriculture specialist, crop 保险 agent, agriculture lending associate, equipment salesperson, and office assistant.

Additional Information

Students will have an opportunity to join the Ag Club, which is the most active club on the BSC campus. Members host tailgating prior to Mystics events, participate in monthly social activities, partake in volunteer opportunities, attend field trips to various agribusinesses, and promote agriculture on the BSC campus.
